Process for Captioning

For general questions or to receive guidance about creating or delivering an accessible course or departmental videos, contact the Media Production Studio at itmps@ku.edu or 785-864-6452. They can also assist with the delivery of your content, whether by on-line streaming or DVD creation.

For videos you create or own, upload them to Media Hub will be automatically captioned. These captions should be edited for accuracy. Instructions for that are here.

If you have the budget and simply want to have an outside vendor do all the work of creating the transcript and the caption file for your video, see the list of approved vendors.
